Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law celebrated the auspicious occasion of Dasara on 19th October 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Seminar Hall with devotion, reverence, and a spirit of positivity. The celebration was organised by the Cultural Committee under the guidance of Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh, I/C Principal and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students and staff members, who came together to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom, learning, and enlightenment. The celebration commenced with Saraswati Pujan, a sacred ritual performed to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The pujan symbolised the importance of knowledge, intellectual growth, and the pursuit of excellence in education. Following the pujan, students and staff members collectively participated in the Saraswati Aarti, creating an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual harmony. The participation of students and faculty members added warmth and enthusiasm to the celebration, making it a meaningful occasion for the entire college community. Dasara, also known as Vijayadashami, signifies the victory of good over evil and represents the triumph of righteousness, truth, and virtue. The festival also holds cultural and educational significance, as it is associated with new beginnings, the pursuit of knowledge, and the removal of ignorance. The celebration at BCT College of Law provided an opportunity for students to connect with India’s rich cultural heritage while appreciating the enduring relevance of these values in contemporary life, particularly in the field of legal education. The celebration concluded on a positive and devotional note, leaving the participants with a renewed sense of purpose, gratitude, and respect for knowledge and learning. The observance of Dasara reflected the institution’s efforts to promote cultural traditions and spiritual values alongside its academic endeavours. The programme was a meaningful expression of the college’s cultural spirit and collective devotion, reinforcing the belief that knowledge guided by wisdom, integrity, and righteousness is the foundation of a just and enlightened society.
