The Foundation Course 2025, conducted from 23rd June 2025 & 27th June 2025 under the theme “Posteris Juris”, successfully oriented first-year law students to the fundamentals of legal education. Through expert-led sessions on constitutional values, ethics, and legal reasoning, the course laid a strong academic foundation for over 60 students. Poster Presentation Competition A total of 32 students participated in the Poster Presentation Competition, working in pairs. Each team was assigned a landmark constitutional case to analyze and present through visual and legal interpretation. The winners were: • 1st Rank: Manasi & Samiya Sayyed K. M. Nanavati vs. State of Maharashtra • 2nd Rank: Dipti & Pari A. K. Gopalan vs. State of Madras • 3rd Rank (Tie): o Vaidehi & Shraddha – Maneka Gandhi vs. Union of India o Divyor & Tithi – Sajjan Singh vs. State of Rajasthan Quiz Competition – “Posteris Juris Quiz 2025” The Quiz Competition saw participation from 60 students, who competed individually across multiple rounds covering constitutional law, legal maxims, and current affairs. Top scorers were: • Richa Priya – 45.75 • Shraddha Adhikari– 43.5 • Saniya Sayyed – 43.25 The Foundation Course, through its academic sessions and co-curricular components, successfully initiated students into the ethos of legal education. The Poster Presentation and Quiz Competition served as effective pedagogical tools to reinforce learning, foster intellectual engagement, and build a collaborative academic environment. The initiative not only introduced students to the discipline and discourse of law but also ignited a spirit of critical inquiry and analytical thought that will serve as the cornerstone of their legal journey. It stands as a testament to the institution’s commitment to shaping informed, ethical, and socially responsive legal professionals.
