The guest speaker for the workshop was Adv Sakshee Salunkhe who delivered an engaging and practical session on the importance of mooting in legal education. She emphasized how moot courts act as a bridge between theoretical learning and practical advocacy, enabling students to develop essential skills such as legal research, drafting, and oral arguments. Through her insightful address, she also highlighted the role of mooting in shaping confidence, articulation, and professionalism among budding lawyers.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of more than 100 students from the 3 years LL.B. and 5 years B.A. LL.B. courses. Students actively interacted during the session, raising queries and participating in demonstrations of courtroom etiquette and argument presentation. The interactive nature of the workshop encouraged participants to appreciate the significance of moot courts in sharpening their legal acumen and preparing them for real-life litigation and advocacy.
The workshop proved to be highly enriching, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.
