The 78th Independence Day of our nation was celebrated with Great Enthusiasm and Patriotic Fervour at Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel on 15th August 2024. The celebration was led by Asst. Prof Sangram Pawar, Prof. In-charge of National day Celebration Committee and guided by Principal Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh.
The flag hoisting was held at the Flag Post of BCT College and the venue was decorated with national flags. At 08:30, the national flag was hoisted by Mrs. Archana Paresh Thakur, CDC member while the attendees sang the national anthem with great pride and unity. Following the flag hoisting, a welcome dance was performed by Ms. Pranita Waghmare. After that welcome address by Asst. Prof. Sangram Pawar was given which was followed by Enlightening speech by Principal Deshmukh madam. The event also featured cultural performances, including patriotic songs, speeches and Skit which were performed by students of college which added to the celebratory atmosphere.
The event was concluded with a keynote address by the Hon. Archana Thakur ma'am which highlighted the importance of Freedom for every Indian Citizen. The event was hosted by Ms. Chaitrali Kane, Ms. Apoorva Jadhav and Ms. Prerana Gaikwad. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Ms. Disha Dhone.
The Flag hoisting Ceremony and Celebration of the 78th Independence day of India was a resounding success, achieving its objectives and leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. The collaborative efforts of Teaching & non-teaching Faculty, Participants of Cultural Performances and students were instrumental in making the event memorable.
