Seven Days Residential NSS Camp A.Y. 2025-26

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of our Law College successfully organized a 7-day residential NSS Camp at Kushtarog Niwaran Samiti Shantivan, Nere, from 14th December 2025 to 20th December 2025 with the active participation of 27 NSS volunteers. The camp was conducted under the guidance of our Principal, Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh, and coordinated by Asst. Prof. Sangram Pawar as Chief Program Officer and Asst. Prof. Aparajita Gupta and Asst. Prof. Rohini Kalyankar as Lady Program Officers. The camp was conducted with the objective of fostering social responsibility, legal awareness, discipline, leadership qualities, and community engagement among students. The camp commenced with an inaugural session that introduced the objectives and schedule of the program. Each day featured expert lectures and interactive sessions on socially relevant themes such as literacy, health and hygiene, environmental protection, road safety, digital awareness, and the role of youth in nation-building. Resource persons included professionals, social workers, and NSS coordinators, who motivated students to apply their legal knowledge for social welfare. In addition to lectures, several extension and outreach activities were carried out during the camp. These included cleanliness drives, plantation activities, community interaction programs, , and awareness campaigns in nearby areas. Volunteers actively engaged with local residents, spreading awareness about sanitation, education, and social harmony. These activities helped bridge the gap between education and grassroots realities. The residential nature of the camp encouraged teamwork, discipline, and leadership among students. Daily activities such as group discussions, yoga, meditation, and cultural programs contributed to the physical, mental, and moral development of the volunteers. Evening reflection sessions allowed students to share experiences and learnings from the day. The camp concluded with a valedictory function, during which based on overall performance, discipline, leadership qualities, and active involvement, following awards were presented to deserving volunteers, acknowledging their dedication and exemplary service throughout the camp. Overall, the 7-day residential NSS camp was a meaningful and enriching experience. It successfully instilled the spirit of service, social awareness, and responsibility among law students, aligning with the NSS motto “Not Me, But You.”
