Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel organized a workshop on “Forensic Science – From Clues to Convictions: Discover Forensics” on 13th September 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Seminar Hall. The programme was conducted under the guidance of our Principal Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh, and coordinated by Asst. Prof. Aparajita Gupta. The guest speaker for the session was Asst. Prof. Ms. Krupa Naik from VES Law College, Chembur, who delivered an engaging lecture on the role of forensic science in modern investigation and its significance in strengthening the justice delivery system. Through her thought-provoking address, she emphasized how forensic techniques bridge the gap between law and science, aiding in crime detection and conviction. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 100 students from 3 years LLB and 5 years BALLB course, who actively engaged in discussions during the session. The interactive nature of the programme encouraged students to appreciate the scientific dimensions of legal practice, broadening their perspective on how forensic tools support evidence-based justice. The session proved to be a resounding success, enriching students’ knowledge and inspiring them to explore forensic applications in legal studies. It not only deepened their academic understanding but also motivated them to approach law with a more analytical and scientific outlook. Overall, the programme was a valuable learning experience, leaving a lasting impact on the participants and reinforcing the College’s commitment to providing holistic legal education.
