They observed the simplified and conciliatory approach of the Lok Adalat, which focuses on mutual agreement and compromise rather than adversarial trials.
The students witnessed various cases being heard and were able to see the practical application of legal principles they had studied. They observed the roles of judges, lawyers, and mediators, gaining insights into courtroom etiquette and procedures. The efficiency and effectiveness of the Lok Adalat system impressed the students.
A highlight of the visit was the interaction with the presiding judge, who explained the importance of Lok Adalats in the judicial system and answered the students' questions.
