Organized by: Cultural Committee, Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel Date: 18th October 2026 Time: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Venue: Seminar Hall The Cultural Committee of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law organized the Freshers Party 2026–2027 on 18th October 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event was organized to warmly welcome the first-year students of the B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. programmes and provide them with an opportunity to interact with their peers, seniors, and faculty members in a lively and welcoming environment. The programme was attended by the faculty members and students of the first-year B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. programmes. The event commenced with fun-filled icebreaker activities that encouraged student participation, interaction, and bonding. The activities created an enthusiastic atmosphere and helped students feel comfortable and connected with their new college environment. The programme also featured student performances, including dance performances and other displays of talent by the first-year B.A. LL.B. students. The students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their confidence, creativity, and initiative by coming forward to perform in front of the audience. Their performances added energy and excitement to the celebration. A major highlight of the event was the Mr. and Ms. Freshers 2026–2027 competition, organized by the Cultural Committee. The competition witnessed the participation of 12 male and 12 female students. It was conducted in three rounds to assess the participants' confidence, talent, personality, and ability to express themselves. The three rounds were as follows: 1. Round I – Ramp Walk: Participants showcased their confidence, personality, and presentation skills through a ramp walk. 2. Round II – Show Your Talent: Participants displayed their individual talents, creativity, and abilities. 3. Round III – Question and Answer: Participants responded to questions designed to assess their confidence, presence of mind, and communication skills. The competition was judged by Assistant Professor Ravnish Bector and Assistant Professor Dhanashri Chaugale, who evaluated the participants across the three rounds. Following the completion of all rounds, Mr. Fresher 2026–2027 was awarded to Mr. Bhupendra Gaikwad, a student of FY B.A. LL.B., while the title of Ms. Fresher 2026–2027 was awarded to Ms. Vaishnavi a student of FY B.A. LL.B. The event concluded with music and a cheerful atmosphere, allowing students to celebrate together and create memorable experiences. Freshers Party 2026–2027 successfully provided a platform for new students to showcase their talents, build friendships, develop confidence, and begin their college journey on a positive note. The event was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh and the supervision of Cultural Committee Head, Assistant Professor Aishwarya Patole. The successful execution of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts and coordination of the Cultural Committee team members, Yadnyant Parthe, Diljyot Kaur, Khushi Vishwakarma, and Parth Patil, who form an integral part of the college's Cultural Committee. Their teamwork and commitment contributed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant campus environment. The programme was a joyful celebration of new beginnings, student participation, creativity, and the spirit of college life.
