Hon’ble Dr. A. NAGARATHNA, Associate Professor of Law & Coordinator, Advanced Centre on Research, Development & Training in Cyber Law and Forensics, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru was the chief guest of the event. The programme started with national anthem and then Dr. Mrs. Shitala S. Gavand, Principal, delivered welcome address and Asst. Prof. Bhagyashree Patil introduced the chief guest.
The Chief Guest Hon’ble Dr. A. NAGARATHNA delivered a wonderful lecture on the topic “Protection of Women & Indian Laws “.
She gave detail information about the existing laws made for the welfare of the women and also narrated the lacunas in the existing law. She also satisfied lot of quarries of the students, in question answer session.
Asst. Professor, Mrs. Ravnish Bector, hosted the programme and Asst. Prof. Dhanashri Chougale proposed vote of thanks. The student coordinator Ms. Samruddhi Tiwatane provided technical assistance and the programme was concluded with national song Vande Mataram.
