The Placement Cell Committee successfully organized a highly informative Guest Lecture on the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), delivered by Mr. Akkashh Chauhaan, Founder and CEO of RERA Vision, an expert in Real Estate field. The session was held on Wednesday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This initiative was executed by Asst. Prof. Sangram Pawar, In charge of the Placement Cell Committee, under the strategic guidance of Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh, I/C Principal.
A key factor in the success of this event was the active involvement of an alumnus: Adv. Gayatri Ware took the initiative to organize and coordinate this guest lecture. The Placement Cell Committee acknowledges that this crucial contribution from the college's alumni network was instrumental in making the event possible and highly successful.
Mr. Akkashh Chauhaan's expertise, drawn from over 13 years in the real estate sector and a specialized 8 years focusing on the RERA Act, was immensely beneficial. His presentation moved beyond the theoretical aspects of the law, providing students with invaluable, practical insights into the legal, regulatory, and real-world compliance implications of the Act. This direct application of knowledge is considered crucial for the professional development of law students entering the market.
A significant portion of the lecture was dedicated to career pathways, internship opportunities, and job prospects within the RERA regulatory ecosystem. This segment was particularly engaging, as Mr. Chauhaan effectively connected regulatory theory with practical, entry-level professional roles. This clear direction has undoubtedly served to motivate students and provide them with a tangible focus for their academic and career planning in this vital domain.
The overall feedback received from the students has been overwhelmingly positive. The participants highly appreciated the clarity and depth of knowledge shared, particularly during the subsequent Question & Answer session.
The Placement Cell Committee extends profound gratitude to Mr. Chauhaan for his generous contribution of time and expertise, and to Adv. Gayatri Ware for spearheading this successful alumni-driven initiative. The Committee recommends continued collaboration with experts and organizations like RERA Vision to further enhance the practical and placement-oriented education offered by the College.
