Department of lifelong learning has organised the first Intra-Collegiate Quiz Competition of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of law, New Panvel held on 31st July 2024, Wednesday was a resounding Success bringing together students from various divisions and courses to showcase their knowledge and competitive spirit. The Quiz competition took place in the Seminar Hall of the college and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 70 contestants.
This Intra collegiate Quiz Competition was conducted by Asst. Prof. Sangram Pawar Professor In-charge DLLE under the guidance of Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh, I/C Principal which aimed to foster a culture of learning and curiosity among students. All contestants used this golden opportunity to revise one's knowledge about academics and Current events.
The competition started at 10:00 AM with explaining rules and grading system for the same. The Quiz was structured into three Rounds. In the first round, "The basic knowledge of Political Science and Legal Language" was examined. 70 contestants competed among themselves for Top 10 positions. Top-10 students with the highest scores advanced to the Semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, "Role of Writ and PIL in Constitution History" was the theme. In this round, Top-10 contestants tested their quick thinking and breadth of knowledge.
Top-5 finalists were finalized for the final round which competed in Buzzer Round. This decisive round determined the ultimate winner of the Intra-Collegiate Quiz Competition, after closely contesting in 3 rounds, Anamika Joshi emerged victorious followed by Avantika Gavand and Sunil Kathale.
A total of 70 participants actively participated in this 1st Intra- Collegiate Quiz Competition organised by DLLE. The audience comprising fellow Students, faculty members and staff provided enthusiastic support, creating an electrifying atmosphere. We look forward to more such events in the future to continue nurturing the spirit of inquiry and learning.
