On 23rd September 2024, the college celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm, under the leadership of Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh, I/C Principal, and in the presence of Mrs. Dhanashree Kadam, B.A. LL.B. Coordinator in the seminar hall from 10.30 am onwards. The event was organized by Mrs. Ravnish Bector, Faculty In charge of the Hindi Sahitya Mandal, along with Mr. Sangram Pawar, Faculty In charge of the National Day Celebration Committee.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by both Mrs. Ravnish Bector and Mr. Sangram Pawar. Ms. Prerna Gaikwad, General Secretary and a 5th-year student, efficiently anchored the program, ensuring its smooth flow.
Faculty participation played a significant role in enriching the event. Mrs. Aparajita Gupta, Mrs. Anam Mehndikar, and Adv. Deepali Bohra shared their knowledge by presenting poetry and literature, highlighting the cultural and literary significance of the Hindi language. Their contributions provided a deep insight into Hindi literature, enhancing the audience's appreciation for the language.
Students who had performed in the event include Kriteshwar Singh (2nd Year LL.B., Sunil Kathale (2nd Year LL.B.), Prathamesh Dethe (2nd Year LL.B.), Bhushan Patil (2nd Year LL.B.), Anil Gamare (3rd Year LL.B.).
The celebration reflected the importance of Hindi as a unifying force in Indian culture. Students showcased their talents through speeches, recitations, dohas and sher-o shayari on Hindi’s relevance since contemporary times. Faculty members, with their contributions, further enhanced the educational value of the event.
The Hindi Diwas celebration was a great success, promoting the rich heritage of the Hindi language and fostering a deeper appreciation for its role in Indian society.
