A cultural workshop was held on 3rd July 2025 by Mr. Umesh, a expert in the field of theatre, with a focus on introducing students to the Youth Festival, particularly its cultural segment. The session began with a brief introduction to theatre, where students shared their understanding of the art form. Participants were then asked to introduce themselves and explain their interest in attending the workshop. Two activities followed: 1. Creative Group Task: Students were divided into groups and asked to create a flower using available materials. Afterward, they reviewed each other’s work, promoting collaborative learning and appreciation of creativity. 2. Skit Preparation: In the second activity, students formed seven groups and were given ten minutes to prepare short skits on topics of their choice. These were then presented to the group. The workshop served as an effective introduction to the cultural elements of the Youth Festival and encouraged student engagement through practical, creative exercises.
