The event aimed to honor the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and to promote awareness about the richness, pride, and historical importance of the Marathi language.
The celebration was hosted by Ritesh Patil, a student of 2nd LLB, along with Asst. Professor Aishwarya Patole, who serves as incharge cultural coordinator . The program was graced by chief guest Mrs. Archana Thakur, Principal Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh and B.A LLB coordinator Asst. Professor Dhanshree Kadam whose presence inspired students and faculty alike.
The event featured a series of student’s speeches emphasizing the significance of Marathi as a cultural identity and highlighting the INFLUENCE, VALOR, AND ADMINISTRATIVE VISION of Shivaji Maharaj in shaping regional pride and governance ideals. These speeches reflected deep admiration and understanding of history, language, and heritage.
Adding vibrancy to the celebration, students presented cultural performances, including songs that celebrated Marathi traditions and historical pride.
The program also included interactive games involving both students and professors, creatively centered around the Marathi language, making the event both educational and entertaining.
The celebration was organised under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sanavi Deshmukh and B.A LLB Coordinator Dhanashree Kadam by the Cultural Committee under Asst. Professor Aishwarya Patole, Gayatri Gokhale and Vedant Mohite, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution and success of the program. Their planning, coordination, and dedication were evident throughout the event.
