The 58th Youth Festival – Zonal Round for the Raigad Zone was held on Sunday, 10th August 2025 at Konkan Gyanpeeth, Rahul Dharkar College of Pharmacy, Karjat, commencing at 8:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day. The event witnessed an impressive gathering of talent with 24 colleges from across the Raigad Zone competing in various cultural categories.
Representing Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, a dedicated contingent of 22 student participants accompanied by three faculty members, Asst.Prof Aishwarya Patole, Asst. Prof Suraj Bhalerao, Asst.Prof Shilpa Nagaonkar took part under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sanvi Deshmukh and B.A.LL.B Coordinator Asst.Prof Dhanashri Kadam, along with valuable support from faculty mentors for respective events. The execution of the entire event was successful with careful management by Student Cultural Representatives: Mr. Vedant Mohite (3rd Year B.A.LL.B) and Ms. Gayatri Gokhale (3rd Year LL.B)
Our students competed in 23 events covering Literary, Fine Arts, Theatre, Music, and Dance. Many displayed commendable enthusiasm by participating in multiple competitions—often two or three events—showing versatility, energy, and a strong cultural spirit.
We are proud to announce that our college secured five prizes in this highly competitive festival:
• Skit Group C – 1st Prize
• Story Telling (Marathi) – Shravani Karande (3rd Yr B.A.LL.B) – 1st Prize
• Mono Acting Group C – Apurva Jogle (3rd Yr B.A.LL.B) – 2nd Prize
• Elocution Group B – Dipti Gaikwad (2nd Yr B.A.LL.B) – 3rd Prize
• Indian Folk Dance – Consolation Prize
These achievements reflect the dedication, hard work, and creativity of our students, along with the tireless guidance of our faculty members. Beyond the accolades, the festival provided an enriching experience—fostering confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the performing and visual arts.
