The National Day Celebration Committee at Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law had organized a Special Lecture on golden day of “World Day for International Justice” as part of an effort to recognize the emerging system of International Criminal Justice. under the guidance of In-charge principal Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh ma’am of Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel dated on 18-07-24 in Seminar Hall.
The Speaker for the same was In-charge principal Mrs. Sanavi Deshmukh ma’am who had distinguished career in the field of Law.
During this enlighten lecture the principal madam educated the students about origin of World day For International Justice in brief which marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute on 17th July 1998, the founding treaty of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Madam also addressed the various key events in World Legal History including key provisions of UN, ICJ and UDHR. The program was concluded by Host Humanshu Mesharam by expressing the Vote of Thanks.
The program proved to be a great success and helped the students to get a brief idea behind the history of International Justice which will be of great help in their academic and professional pursuit.
