On the World Day Against Human Trafficking in Person(30th July), Maharashtra State Human Right Commission, District Legal Service Authority, Justice Ventures India (JVI), Nyay network and The Movement India associations had Invited Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of law, New Panvel to joining the ‘Youth Against Human Trafficking movement’. On this day notable day 10 Anti-Human Trafficking Clubs in Maharashtra were officially inaugurated.

Students representative Disha Dhone and Aaryan Ghag attended this Inauguration Program on behalf of BCT Law College, New Panvel. Organizers through this event enlightened about this year’s United Nations theme of “Leave No Child Behind in the Fight Against Human Trafficking”.
Prem Raj, Director of operations for Justice Ventures India, Praveen Singh CEO Apnalaya NGO & member Nyay network, Mr. Satish Hiwale - Member Secretary & Judge, DLSA Mumbai Suburban, Mr. Nitin Patil Sir, IAS, secretary, State Human Rights Commission Maharashtra enlightened the attendees with their vast experience in the field. Also they brought awareness amongst the crowd regarding human trafficking so immediate and rapid actions can be initiated at our college level.
