On May 6, 2025, BCT College of Law, New Panvel, organized an Intra-Collegiate Research Paper Competition to commemorate the death anniversary of Late Shri Janardan Bhagat Saheb, a revered figure whose contributions to education and society continue to inspire. The event commenced with a heartfelt tribute to Late Shri Janardan Bhagat Saheb, where faculty and students gathered for a moment of silence and reflections on his enduring legacy.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from 21 students who showcased exceptional research skills, articulate presentations, and in-depth content, addressing contemporary legal issues with scholarly rigor. Organized by Asst. Prof. Sangram Pawar under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Sanavi Deshmukh, the event was a testament to meticulous planning and academic excellence, fostering an environment of intellectual exchange. The distinguished judging panel, comprising Asst. Prof. Dhanashri Kadam, Dr. Mamta Bhattacharya, and Asst. Prof. Aparajita Gupta, evaluated the presentations based on research depth, clarity, originality, and impact, ensuring a fair and rigorous process.

The competition was fiercely contested, with Ms. Mansi Shelar securing the 1st rank, Mr. Suraj Puri and Ms. Shreya Bapat sharing the 2nd rank, and Mr. Shashikant Mali, Ms. Mansi Mhatre, and Ms. Shivani Khanolkar earning the 3rd rank. The winners were lauded for their outstanding research and delivery, while all participants were commended for their dedication. Highlights included vibrant Q&A sessions that sparked deeper discussions and showcased the participant’s ability to defend their arguments confidently.
